The pump is being designed to fit The U CAN.  Just pour your liquid into the fertilizer chamber and pump how much you need into the measuring spoon or cup before adding to the water chamber. 

Note: Due to the sedimentary nature of some liquid fertilizers, you may need to stir or shake the contents of the fertilizer before dispensing.  You should also periodically flush out the pump and clean the sprinkler rose.
